How Catering Works

You'll pick a date for your event and we'll hold it for you for 7 days.

In the meantime, we’ll email you a Fine Dining Solutions seasonal menu from which to choose your special event course selections from and we'll ask for a deposit to hold your preferred date. You don't have to pick from our extensive menu - we are happy to prepare anything you like.

We make an appointment for a Kitchen Inspection in your home.

At our pre-arranged Kitchen Inspection meeting day and time, we'll arrive to conduct the Kitchen Inspection and review your special event menu selections. This meeting will take about 15 minutes and give you and the opportunity to share ideas, comment or request specifics about the event menu.

On your special event date, we'll arrive (at our pre-arranged arrival time) coming straight from the grocery where we have purchased everything we'll need to prepare your dishes. We'll also bring all the cooking utensils we'll need to prepare, execute and serve your dishes.

About an hour before your guests arrive, our wait staff will arrive to chat with you about serving plates, cocktail selections, passed hor d'oeuvres (if applicable), all the little details we'll need to know before hand – so that you can relax for the evening – and be a "guest" at your own event.

Later on, your guests arrive, cocktails/passed hor d'oeuvres are served and your service continues until after dessert when the staff will silently exit leaving you petit fours to enjoy and you and your guests may continue to enjoy your evening together - uninterrupted.

We bill within 7 days of the event, where you'll receive your service invoice (via mail or email) outlining your special event service, type of services, reimburseable grocery expenses with scanned copies of the grocery receipts.
