How Cooking Classes Work
Private Cooking Classes
You'll select a date for your event and we'll hold it for your for 7 days.
In the meantime, we'll send you our seasonal catering menu and our seasonal cooking class menu to get your creative juices flowing and help you decide what type of class you would like to have. We'll ask for a deposit to hold your preferred date for you.
We make an appointment for a Kitchen Inspection in your home.
At our pre-arranged Kitchen Inspection meeting day and time, we'll arrive to conduct the Kitchen Inspection and review your class selections. This meeting will take about 15 minutes and give you and the opportunity to share ideas, comment or request specifics about the class menu.
On your special event date, we'll arrive (at our pre-arranged arrival time) coming straight from the grocery where we have purchased everything we'll need to prepare your dishes. We'll also bring all the cooking utensils we'll need to work with, so you don't have to worry about cooking for hours - and then cleaning.
We'll set up for the class and begin whatever type of class you would like. It'll include all the recipes, a kitchen vocab sheet, an outline of what our 'plan of action' will be for the class, some further reading suggestions as well as some pop culture/academic articles related to the class.
After the class, we'll clean up and slightly exit leaving you to enjoy your hard work in peace.
We bill within 7 days of the event, where you'll receive your service invoice (via mail or email) outlining your class service/type of service, reimburseable grocery expenses with scanned copies of the grocery receipts.
