How Personal Chef Works
We make an appointment for a Personal Assessment/Kitchen Inspection in your home. We ask that all adults we'll be cooking for be present.
In the meantime, we’ll email you a Fine Dining Solutions Food Check List to fill out before our upcoming meeting, helping to save you time during our meeting and allowing us to get to know your food preferences in much more detail.
At our pre-arranged Personal Assessment/Kitchen Inspection meeting day and time, We will arrive to conduct the formal questionnaire and review your Food Check List. This meeting will take about an hour and
give us a chance to get to know each other and share ideas about the service and
how it can fit into your lifestyle
. We'll discuss possible times of day and days of the week to have the service and how many meals, snacks, desserts, etc. you'll enjoy per week, month, etc. We'll pick a date for your first service and we'll ask for a service deposit.
After our meeting, we will research and develop your personalized Menu Proposal, consisting of a minimum of 40 entrees for dinner (and/or breakfast, lunch, snack or dessert selections if you requested those as well) and within 48
hours of the meeting, you'll receive your Fine Dining Solutions Menu Proposal via email. You'll select the dishes that you would like us to prepare on your first two chef service dates and send those selections to us at least 48 hours before your first scheduled service date.
On your scheduled chef service, we'll come straight from the grocery where we have purchased everything we'll need to prepare your dishes. We'll also bring all the cooking utensils we'll need to prepare, execute and package your dishes. In just a few hours, we'll be done – cleaning up the kitchen to leave it just as we found it, only leaving the smell of a great restaurant throughout your home.
We've packaged and labeled all your meals and placed them in the fridge. You'll find your heating directions in a special Welcome to Our Services Package, which contains all kinds of insider tips and the special treats on how to most enjoy our chef services.
Within 3-4 days after your service date, we'll email you a meal review sheet (optional). We'll also set-up a permanent schedule if we haven't done so already.
Every two service dates, we'll email you an updated Menu Proposal, adding at least 20 new dishes to choose from. We also "cleanse" your Menu Proposal seasonally, based on what is available at the markets - but you'll never lack in choice in "what is for dinner".
With our personal chef services, you are welcome to continue selecting your dishes from the Menu Proposal or we'd be happy to do the menu selection process for you, selecting your dishes based on our Personal Assessment and your Food Check List.
We bill semi-monthly on the 1st and the 15th , where you’ll receive your service invoice (via mail or email) outlining your service dates, type of service and scanned copies of your grocery receipts. |
